A girl of two extremes

Is Jocelyn more like Micah or Mackenna?

Well, she looks like Micah in the mouth and chin, for sure. Especially when she is smiling or crying. However, she has a head size that is in a lower percentile than her weight, so that isn't like her brother. There is something different about Jocelyn's eyes than Micah's, but I can't quite figure out what and I'm not sure if it is because they are Mackenna's eyes or if it is something different.

She seems to be like Micah in her introvert/extrovert tendencies. She thrives on people talking to her, making eye contact with her, smiling at her. Mackenna was content to sit in the corner by herself; she still is (as long as she has her books).

However, she does seem to be more like Mackenna when it comes to extremes. She gets really really really angry sometimes. And she is really really happy sometimes. And we are talking ANGRY. Monday she spent most of the day screaming. Who knows if it was pain, general exhaustion, or a combination (we actually considered that she may have a broken bone that's how mad she was). Today, she was happy and content. She napped well (albeit, her afternoon nap was in a swing). She didn't scream. She ate well. Strange.

Here are some things that were the same in both days: She was adorable. She was loved. She slept well at night. That is something that she has been doing fantastically and consistently well with. (She has been sleeping from about 9:30 to 5:30. Blessed little girl.)
